Because the joy of an orphan is our true holiday, the lights of hope have shone in the Al-Jalaa Sports Hall in Damascus under the slogan “Their Joy is Our Holiday.”
On Wednesday, April 2, 2025, the Imam Charity Foundation, in cooperation with the Ministry of Social Affairs and Labor and the Rural Damascus Governorate, held a recreational festival for orphaned children from all areas of Rural Damascus. The festival was attended by Minister Hind Qabwat, Rural Damascus Governor Amir Al-Sheikh, and representatives from international and charitable organizations, with more than 1,000 boys and girls participating, making the holiday an occasion that embodies social solidarity and brings smiles back to their little faces.
The festival included honoring the children with cash prizes and gifts, as well as recreational activities and competitions, ensuring moments filled with joy and happiness.
